What is the deadline for contributing to an IRA for the 2024 tax year?

You can contribute to your IRA for the 2024 tax year until April 15, 2025. This applies to both Traditional and Roth IRAs. Contributions made after December 31, 2024, but before the deadline, can still count toward the 2024 tax year. Be sure to indicate the correct tax year when making your contribution.
